With the July heat already here and the Dog Days of August is fast approaching one would think that we would know how to handle the heat but we don’t. Often we hear or see people having problems with the heat. Remember to drink plenty of liquids well before you plan to do any type of physical activity or if you are going to be outside for any length of time. If you just drink a lot of fluids just before you go outside this may help a little but it will not cure the problem. Carry some drinks with you in a cooler if you will be in the heat. This will help you keep fluids in your system. Just don’t get in the heat trying to move or push things around without fluids to replenish the water you have lost. If you do get heat exhaustion don’t hesitate to seek help. You could be in a very dangerous situation.
